IPN and TRICARE ensure quality care for Idaho veterans
UnitedHealthcare and UnitedHealth Military & Veterans Services have partnered with IPN to provide a robust TRICARE network in Idaho since April 1, 2013.

TRICARE is a healthcare program of the United States Department of Defense Military Health System and provides health benefits for military personnel, military retirees, and their eligible dependents.

IPN believes TRICARE beneficiaries deserve the opportunity to maintain existing relationships and receive uninterrupted coverage through their existing providers. Expanding your participation to include TRICARE under the administration of UnitedHealth Military & Veterans Services gives you a chance to serve and honor a respected population of individuals who have served our county.

Providers interested in participating in the TRICARE network must be credentialed by IPN before providing services. If you are already credentialed and participating with IPN, contact your IPN Provider Relations Representative to verify if you are eligible to be TRICARE participating.

The credentialing process involves obtaining primary-source verification of the provider’s education, board certification, license, professional background, malpractice history, and other pertinent data.

If you are a behavioral health provider, please contact the UnitedHealthcare behavioral health provider relations team by email at providerservice.nat@optumhealth.com
